Q: We want a gift that is not on iDoGifts, how do we request it?
A: Simply email us the link to the gift you are interested in, (support@idogifts.com). We are constantly looking for new gifts and want to make your wedding registry perfect for you!
Q: What happens if we request a gift and our gift givers don’t make the full gift price?
A: iDoGifts can suggest a less expensive item. Ex. you are requesting a $500 barbecue and $400 has been committed. We’ll work with you to find a great $400 barbecue. Another scenario is that you are $50 short on a brand new 42 inch HDTV, you have the option to pay the difference. Lastly, it’s your gift and money, we are simply holding it. So there is the option of getting a Visa Gift Card if a gift is not fulfilled.
Q: Will all the gifts from our registry be delivered on the same day?
A: Not always. Once all the gift units for a gift is realized in your iDoGifts registry an order is sent to the corresponding retailer. The retailer processes and ships the order, gifts may be arriving at different times. For larger gifts such as a washer and dryer unit the retailer will contact you before hand to schedule a delivery time.
Q: Is there a charge to use iDoGifts?
A: There is no charge to couples who register with iDoGifts. However, for requested gifts that iDoGifts does not yet have a retail partnership with a 3-5% gift fee may be added on top of the sale amount. Thus, this fee is covered by gift givers and not the couple. This fee is to cover Credit Card Transactions Fees associated with the gift.
